

Hello and welcome to Sue Thompson's website. Sue writes a weekly humor column appears in a Northwestern Minnesota paper, The Crookston Times . Sue works on her PhD when not writing and plans a December 2010 graduation.
Born and raised a Lutheran, Sue remains an active member in her church,(United Lutheran Church). Okay, she is a Lutheran Norwegian living in Minnesota, go figure? Sue's life could easily be described on Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion". Sue's claim to fame is that while attending college in Moorhead, MN, she lived right next to "Prairie Home Cemetary", the very place which inspired the title for Mr. Keillor's weekly radio show.
Sue participanted in the NEW Women's Leadership Institute at the Tri-College in Moorhead, MN and Fargo, ND. Sue served as a Faculty-In-Residence at the 2007 NEW Women's Leadership Institute, and 2006 panel member.
Sue welcomes speaking engagements as her humor and reflection on life inspires her audiences.
Sue's articles have appeared in the Minnesota Christian Chronicle and Today Red River Valley Women.
Sue lives in East Grand Forks, MN with her husband, children, cat and dogs.
